House of Representatives Pays Final Tribute to Former Speaker’s Aide Dr. Chamberlain Dunkwu

The House of Representatives has paid tribute to former Deputy Chief of Staff (Legislative) to the Speaker, Dr. Chamberlain Nnamdi Dunkwu, at his final burial rites in Ute-Okpu, Delta State.
Leading the House delegation on behalf of Speaker Abbas Tajudeen, the Minority Leader, Rt. Hon. Fred Agbedi, described the late Dunkwu as an outstanding public servant whose dedication, professionalism and integrity contributed significantly to legislative administration and Nigeria’s democratic development.
Agbedi said Dunkwu’s years of service left a lasting legacy of excellence, patriotism and commitment to national progress, noting that his contributions to the National Assembly would continue to be remembered.
Also speaking at the ceremony, the member representing Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi, praised the deceased as a dependable leader and accomplished administrator whose impact on public service was widely acknowledged.
He urged the bereaved family to take solace in the enduring legacy Dunkwu left behind through his service to the nation and his community.
The burial ceremony drew lawmakers, government officials, community leaders and mourners from across Nigeria, who gathered to celebrate the life and achievements of a respected public servant.
The event concluded with prayers for the peaceful repose of Dr. Dunkwu’s soul and for strength and comfort for his family during their period of mourning.
