A total of 8 clubs from the COSAFA region will contest the title in Durban between 30 August – 8 September, with the winners set to earn the right to represent the region in Cote d’Ivoire where the CAF Women’s Champions League is set to take place in November.

Zambia’s Green Buffaloes are the current champions of the regional title of the competition after a famous win over the then champions, Sundowns Ladies in Durban last year through a 6-5 penalty shoot-out, following an evenly contested 0-0 stalemate.

Morocco’s AS Far are the current holders of the CAF Women’s Champions League after dethroning inaugural winners, Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies of South Africa in front of a packed Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat last year.

The eight clubs to be involved in the official draw on Thursday are as follows:

  2. Double Action Ladies (Botswana)

  5. Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa)
  6. Ntopwa FC (Malawi)
  7. Olympic De Moroni (Comoros)
  8. Young Buffaloes (Eswatini)
