‎Police Arrest Suspect in Kelvin Junior Isaac’s Death

The Vice Chairman of Abua/Odual Local Government Area, Hon. Abhunu Victoria, has announced the arrest of a suspect in connection with the death of 26-year-old Kelvin Junior Isaac in Adada Community in Abua Odual Government Area of Rivers ‎on the October 6.

‎According to a statement issued by the Vice Chairman, the suspect, identified as Adamiodi Okpiri, was intercepted and arrested in Port Harcourt following intelligence-led police operations.

‎The suspect had allegedly attempted to escape through the Degema waterways.‎The suspect is currently in custody and is expected to be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Port Harcourt for further investigation and possible prosecution.

‎Hon. Abhunu Victoria, on behalf of the local government administration, expressed profound appreciation to the Executive Chairman of Abua/Odual LGA, Hon. Owolobi Michael Ofori, for his leadership, prompt intervention, and commitment to ensuring the safety and security of residents across the local government area.

‎She also commended the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Abua and the entire police team for their swift response, professionalism, and dedication to duty, which contributed to the arrest.

‎The Vice Chairman extended her heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Kelvin Junior Isaac, assuring them that the local government administration remains committed to supporting efforts to ensure that justice is served.

‎She reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to maintaining law and order, strengthening community security, and ensuring that anyone found culpable is brought to justice in accordance with the law.
