Rivers Crisis: Pro-Fubara Assembly To Screen Commissioner Nominee On Monday
The Rivers State House of Assembly led by Rt. Hon. Victor Oko-Jombo, loyal to Governor Siminalayi Fubara, would on Monday screen a commissioner nominee, Barr. Emmanuel Frank-Fubara, amid the political crisis rocking the state.
The assembly in a letter of invitation signed by its Clerk Dr. G. M. Gillis-West and sent to newsmen on Sunday, directed that the commissioner nominee appear before it on Monday by 10am at the alternative assembly auditorium, located at the administrative block of the Rivers State Government House, Port Harcourt by 10am with copies of his credentials.
The invitation reads, “The Rivers State House of Assembly hereby invites the Commissioner nominee Barr. Emmanuel Frank-Fubara for screening and confirmation as member of the Rivers State Executive Council.

“The nominee is to come along with twelve (12) sets of his Curriculum Vitae (CV) and, the originals and photocopies of his credentials.”
