Atiku’s PCC member predicts PDP’s victory in Anambra, S’East

By Osiberoha Osibe, Awka
A member of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Ify Morah, has hinted the party would win in the 2023, presidential election.

Morah, who spoke while addressing her supporters, in Awka, Anambra State, said the massive turnout at the presidential campaign flag-off of the party, despite fears over insecurity, was an indication that “Anambra is PDP state.”

She also said that the founding father of PDP is the former Vice President, Dr. Alex Ekwueme, who is from the state.

Morah expressed hope that people of the state, as well as the entire South East would continue to align with the late elder statement’s political interest, and vote for PDP.

According to her, the people of Anambra and South East showed their love for PDP in the 2015 and 2019 presidential elections, stressing that voters in the zone will still vote PDP in the 2023 elections.

The PDP chieftain expressed confidence that members and supporters of PDP will vote for Atiku Abubakar, who he described as a detribalised Nigerian and has, in successive contests, chosen Igbomen as running mates, including his present running mate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
