34-year-old Nigerian Chenge joins race for Michigan gov
A 34-year-old Nigerian, Austin Chenge, has joined the race for the governorship position in the territory of Michigan in the United States of America.
The political decision is relied upon to hold in 2022.
An announcement by the Head of Media and Public Relations unit, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abdul-Rahman Balogun, distinguished Chenge as a local of Benue State.
Chenge is required to challenge USA Representative, Lamar Smith, for the ticket under the Republican Party.
It said Chenge reported his goal to run for legislative head of Michigan in March 2020, making him the principal Republican to do as such.
The announcement said Chenge is famous locally for planning the mainstream tricycle, known as “Wazobia tricycle”, in 2016, intended to improve the lives of worker ranchers all over Africa.
