President William Ruto will on Thursday morning chair the Kenya Kwanza Parliamentary Group meeting.
This will the first of its kind for the alliance after both Senate and National Assembly were fully constituted.
Both Members of Parliament and Senators from the coalition will be in attendance led by their house leaderships.
According to State House Press Secretary Emmanuel Talam, they will discuss the Kenya Kwanza Parliamentary agenda.
The meeting comes on the day the National Assembly are set to elect chairpersons and vice-chairpersons of various committees.
Kenya Kwanza being the majority in the house will chair all committees except the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) and Public Investment Committee (PIC).
Last week, the Senate elected their committees’ chairpersons and vice- chairpersons with Kenya Kwanza carrying all seats except two.
The two; County Public Investment and Special Fund Committee and County Public Accounts Committee are chaired by the opposition.
