LOOK: Couple has sex during virtual bar mitzvah on Zoom

The couple had forgotten to only keep the audio on during the Zoom service and had sex for about 45 minutes – until they were interrupted

A couple who had joined a bar mitzvah being held via Zoom forgot to turn off their camera and had sex, in full view of gobsmacked congregants who had also logged into the service.

According to The New York Post, this occurred in the US, Minneapolis on 14 May 2022. The couple had apparently forgotten to only keep the audio on during the service – and this went on for quite some time.

“It went on for about 45 minutes,’ said one person who witnessed the couple hitting it on during the virtual religious service. She was walking around naked, she got dressed, she’s in and out of the Zoom, he was in the bed, he whipped it out, she started going to work. Someone on the Zoom saw and called her and was like, ‘WTF are you doing? You’re on camera.’ She freaked out.,” said one person who witnessed the middle-aged white couple’s sex romp.

SEX MISTAKENLY BROADCAST ON ZOOM

The identity of the couple has been withheld by the synagogue and not too many people witnessed them having sex during the Zoom service.

“It was a Zoom for a bat mitzvah. Most people were not on camera except like, the old bubbes… who don’t know how to turn off their camera, and these two people. So the boxes were pretty big and everyone could see who was on camera,” said the congregant who saw it.

The couple seems to have fallen victim to something known as ‘Zoom-bombing.’ Since the COVID-19 pandemic, some of the most embarrassing sex scenes have been captured on Zoom. In 2020, CNN analyst Jeffrey Toobin was fired after he was seen masturbating during a virtual meeting with his colleagues from The New Yorker, a publication he worked for as a writer.

Toobin said he had forgotten to turn off his camera during the call and did not realise that his colleagues could see him. He later issued an apology.

“And I’m sorry to the people who read my work and who watched me on CNN who thought I was a better person than this. And so, you know, I got a lot to rebuild, but I feel very privileged and very lucky that I’m going to be able to try to do that,” he said.
