Agbedi Joins De Wayles Chairman to Celebrate Son’s Wedding in Lagos

The Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. (Chief) Fred Agbedi, Ph.D., over the weekend, took time out of his demanding official engagements in Abuja to join his friend and brother, High Chief (Dr.) Emonena Victor Wayles Egukawhore, Chairman of De Wayles Group of Companies, in celebrating the marriage of his son, Dr. Oghenekome Egukawhore, to Tolulope Stephanie Spencer.
The wedding ceremonies, which held on September 3 and 5, 2026, brought together family members, friends and distinguished personalities from across the country in a grand celebration of love and family.
The church service was held at the Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, located at 9/11 Pearse Street, off Tejuosho, Surulere, Lagos, while the reception took place at The Grandeur Event Centre, 17 Billings Way, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos.
Despite his busy schedule and enormous responsibilities as the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Agbedi’s presence at the occasion reflected the deep bond of friendship and brotherhood he shares with High Chief Egukawhore.
The colourful occasion was graced by several prominent personalities from the political and business communities.
Agbedi’s attendance further demonstrated his strong belief in the value of friendship, loyalty and personal relationships, even amid the enormous demands of public service and national responsibilities.
The Minority Leader joined other guests in congratulating the newly married couple and their families, wishing Dr. Oghenekome Egukawhore and his wife, Tolulope Stephanie Spencer, a happy, peaceful and prosperous marital life.
