William and Kate try to blend in on secret outing with George, Charlotte and Louis

The Prince and Princess of Wales were seen looking low-key as they left the Christmas-themed park Lapland UK with their three young children George, Charlotte and Louis

Prince William and Kate have been spotted trying to blend in with the crowd on a secret festive outing with their children.

The Prince and Princess of Wales visited Lapland UK with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, as well as Norland nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo.

The Ascot location is a Christmas-themed park telling Santa’s story with reindeer, a toy factory, magical forest and shops.

It is a popular place for families that has been running for the past 15 years, and a relatively short journey for the Waleses who were seen leaving last week.

The royal children appeared to have had fun with Charlotte and George seen carrying toys with their own Lepi the Snow Leopards, reported Hello!

Royal fans spotted the family despite William and Kate apparently trying to blend into the crowd.

Kate was wearing black clothing including a turtleneck jumper and bobble hat, while William’s outfit included blue jeans and a khaki flap cap.

William was also seen with a toy under his arm that likely belonged to Prince Louis.

It comes as the Waleses were with the other royals at Sandringham with other royals on Christmas Day.

On that occasion Louis was seen tugging at his mum as he appeared to grow restless with the royals greeting crowds who gathered to see them at the annual festive church service.

George, nine, and seven-year-old Charlotte have carried out the walk before, but this year was the first year that four-year-old Louis, who donned shorts and long socks, joined them.

After the service, the royals stopped to chat to some of the wellwishers who had lined the route, with George, Charlotte and Louis all appearing to have been given gifts by the crowds.

But at one point as Kate held Louis’ hand as she chatted, the cheeky wellwisher seemed eager to get back to Sandringham House and was seen adorably pulling at her arm to hurry her along.

Lapland UK celebrated being open for 15 years with a message on Facebook this Christmas saying: “Since 2007, it has been humbling to discover so many parents (Big Folk!) feel the same way about this fleeting, precious time in a child’s life and it could not feel more wonderful to support families in creating cherished memories together.

“We hope all Big and Small Folk who visit us will have treasured memories of this time in their life and we remain committed to protecting and celebrating the innocence of childhood belief.”
