Liverpool celebrated their 3-2 semi-final victory over Manchester City as the club reached their first FA Cup final since 2012.

Having reached the FA Cup final at Manchester City’s expense, Fabinho was eager to praise the quality within the Reds squad, while Virgil van Dijk appeared to be in a cheerful mood. When Liverpool last played at Wembley in the Carabao Cup final, Luis Diaz proved to be the star of the show, though Thiago Alcantarabecame injured in the warm-up, and both were pleased to reach another cup final.
Fabinho said: “On to another final for this group, and a very special one. A huge thanks to our fans that were amazing today. Here we go!”
On Instagram, Van Dijk posted: “The sun is shining, the game was fun! FA Cup final, here we come.” Adding to the celebrations, Thiago said, “ Wembley, here we go again!” and Diaz was left in awe by the occasion: “WOW !! Amazing day at Wembley.”
Though it was due to their goals that Liverpool overcame City, both Konate and Mane didn’t look to steal the headlines. The French defender simply captioned a video of his header: “FINAL!” and Sadio Mane showed his selfless nature by stating: “What a performance form the lads.” It was left up to Trent Alexander-Arnold to celebrate Mane’s performance, posting the caption “Sadioooo” on pictures of the pair celebrating his second goal of the game.
