NWFL Champions, Delta Queens have been drawn in Group A for the 2023 CAF Women Champions League WAFU Zone B Qualifiers, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The draws which were held via CAF digital platforms on Wednesday saw teams paired for the playoffs through their regions.
For West African Union B where Nigeria’s sole representative, Delta Queens are, the clubs were grouped into A and B.
Delta Queens are in group A with USFA of Burkina Faso, Atletico D’Abidjan of Cote d’Ivoire and Sam Nelly FC of Benin Republic.
Group B has Ampem Darkoa Ladies of Ghana, AS Garde Nationale of Niger Republic and Academic Amis Du Monde of Togo.
The winner of the tournament will book the only ticket available for WAFU B to the third edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League to be held in Cote D’Ivoire this year.
