UN warns that Africa’s glaciers will have melted by 2040

A new UN-backed report has warned that the last remaining glaciers in East Africa are shrinking fast. And across the continent, the impacts of climate change could result in drought, floods and extreme heat, affecting hundreds of millions of people.
