Speaking at the opening session, Tinubu said NEC remains the cornerstone of the economic development of the present administration.

He said Nigerian is standing at a defining cross road with many issues, but the people have what it takes to weather the storm.

The President said the reforms being undertaken by his administration are instruments to delivering prosperity to Nigerians.

He promised to improve the security situation in the country and insisted that Nigeria will overcome the prevailing “unacceptable terrorism”.

President Tinubu said the present administration has recorded notable achievements as state and local government now receive their allocations and have what it takes to pay salaries and other developmental programs.
