TRADITIONAL STOOL: ITSEKIRI YOUTHS PROTEST, CALLS FOR WITHDRAWAL OF CASE FROM POLICE FOR PEACEFUL RESOLUTION
Some youths from Itesekiri kingdom in Warri South local government area of Delta state have protested to zone 5 headquarters of the Nigerian Police force in Benin demanding for a peaceful withdrawal from the police over the dispute of the true occupants of the Olu of warri kingdom.
The youths who came in their numbers, stormed the office of the Assistant Inspector General of Police Zone 5 in Benin City the Edo State Capital, demanding that the police should hands off from the matter to give room for the warring factions to resolve peacefully as it is a traditional matter.
The youths carrying placards with different inscriptions are asking the Assistant Inspector General Of Police to let them settle their dispute according to laws and Customs of their land.
