Sowore’s death: Human life not sacred in Nigeria – Shehu Sani, Moghalu
Former Kaduna lawmaker, Shehu Sani and presidential candidate, Kingsley Moghalu has condemned the death of Olajide Sowore.
Sowore was shot dead by suspected kidnappers in Edo State at the early hours of Saturday.
Sani, describing Sowore’s death as a tragic loss, said human life in Nigeria is no more sacred.
Police give details in killing of Sowore’s younger brother
The former lawmaker called for perpetrators of the sad incident to face justice.
Sani wrote: “The assassination of Mr Olajide Sowore, the younger brother of @YeleSowore in Edo state is tragic & condemnable.
“The perpetrators of this heinous act must face justice. It’s sad that human life is no more sacred nowadays.My condolences to his family.”
Obaseki commences action on death of Sowore’s brother
Moghalu on the other hand, condoling the family on his Twitter page wrote: “Sad to learn of the death of Felix Olamide Sowore, younger brother of @YeleSowore, at the hands of criminals who also kidnapped five people in the operation in which the younger Sowore was shot.
“My condolences to the Sowore family. May his killers be brought to justice.”
