Sex worker tracks down man who owes him money
A SEX WORKER and e-hailing drivers tracked down a man who owed them money after he failed to pay for their services in KwaZulu-Natal

On Tuesday, 21 March, a male sex worker and e-hailing drivers tracked a man who had failed to pay for their services, linking him to a case of theft.

MAN SEEKS MONEY TO PAY SEX WORKER AND E-HAILING DRIVERS
A resident of Russom Street in Verulam, contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA), a local security firm, for assistance.
This after the man arrived at their residence seeking finance to settle his debt with the sex worker and e-hailing drivers. The caller also informed RUSA that the man was wanted for theft.

Officers learned from one of the complainants, a rent boy, that he had met the accused in Verulam CBD the previous week.
The rent boy provided him with oral sex, but the man failed to pay for the service.
He fled after requesting that the rent boy accompany him to Temple Valley to collect the money.
On Sunday, the same man failed to pay several e-hailing drivers.

This after taking their rides and fled on foot after completing his trip.
The rent boy and e-hailing drivers tracked him down and found him in Verulam CBD.
He requested them to transport him to his former employer’s residence to obtain the cash and settle his debts.

TV AND OTHER VALUABLES STOLEN
Upon arrival, they discovered that the TV and other household items had been stolen from the employer’s relative’s residence.
The former employer then contacted RUSA for assistance
During an interview with Reaction Officers, the 38-year-old Tongaat resident confirmed the allegations against him.
He admitted to evading law enforcement.

This after a warrant of arrest was issued by the Verulam Magistrates Court.
The court issued the warrant for his failure to appear in court for a theft case.
RUSA handed the man over to the Verulam SAPS for further investigation.
