Seven individuals were killed and one more harmed in a street mishap along a bustling interstate in Benue state, focal Nigeria, the street security body affirmed on Sunday.
Joyce Akura, a representative of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) in Benue, said the mishap on late Saturday included two vehicles, a truck and a Toyota vehicle, with 12 travelers along the Ugbema-Adikpo.
She told Xinhua on the telephone that seven travelers were affirmed dead, one was harmed and was getting treatment while the staying four were safe.
All the cadavers and the harmed have been taken to a local clinic, she said.
The authority approached drivers to be wary, including that speeding and thoughtless surpassing was the reason for significant mishaps out and about.
