Serena Williams explains main message of her new book: “All girls aren’t told that”
During an interview on the Black Girls Texting podcast, Serena Williams revealed the main message of her newly launched children’s book The Adventures of Qai Qai. “You can do anything. I think a lot of the times people aren’t told as much that you can do anything and definitely all girls aren’t told that you can do anything.
It’s like you can be a princess and you can do that but it’s like ‘no, you can really do anything you want,’ and I think it’s important for everyone to hear that message,” said Serena Williams. The video of the podcast episode was published on YouTube.
