Qatar and Rwanda have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for defence co-operation between the two countries.

From the Qatari side, HE Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel al-Nabit signed the MoU in Rwanda’s capital Kigali, while Chief of Defence Staff General Jean Bosco Kazura signed the memorandum from the Rwandan side, in the presence of officials and a number of high-ranking officers from both sides.
