PROMOTING FILMMAKING IN AFRICA THROUGH AIRWAYS
The multiple award winning and passionate filmmaker born in Warri, Delta State, David Akwara is making effort for his Pan African Documentary series “THE RISE” to hit the African and Global airways.
Here is what he say: On a trip to Uganda, I flew Kenya Airways.
It was such a smooth flight and I got an inspiration.
You know what that inspiration is?
Putting our Pan African Documentary series THE RISE on all African airlines or airlines that travel the African route.
We want people to watch the documentary as they enjoy their flights.
The goal is, we want people traveling into and within the Continent to be aware of what the African Union is doing as regard Market Integration.
It will be great tool to create awareness about the African Single Market under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat.
I believe this can stir conversation that can drive investment into our dear Continent.
It is important to employ every Avenue that can draw the attention of African and Africans in diaspora to the #AfCFTA.
