Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Allegedly Want Palace To Apologize Before Attending King Charles III’s Coronation

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly got an invite to King Charles III’s upcoming coronation in May 2023. But before the Sussexes attend the event, rumors have it they want the palace to issue an apology to them first, though it looks like it will never happen.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are allegedly told they could forget about the royal apology until they admit their faults. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex want to have a “sit-down” meeting with the senior members of the royal family after the release of their controversial Netflix docuseries, “Harry & Meghan.”

The Times claimed the couple wanted the firm to “take responsibility” for the pain and damage they put them through. However, Mirror Online noted that an apology would not happen, and Bucking Palace would remain silent until the two admitted their mistakes.

Royal expert Katie Nichols revealed there would be no chance that the royal family would be making the first move. She told OK! Magazine that both sides should admit their own mistakes, and from there, a reconciliation might ensue.

The royal editor added that King Charles knew a divided monarchy wasn’t what people wanted to see. At the same time, Prince Harry is aware that his brother, Prince William, wouldn’t retaliate.

Nichols continued that the palace’s stance of “never complain, never explain” is the right thing to do this time. If the royal family comments on the issue, it will only fuel the fire that will continue if from burning.

“I think by saying nothing, it’s a dignified silence,” she added. Despite the claims and furor, the palace has reportedly refused to comment on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s documentary.

Meanwhile, as many wonder if King Charles will invite his youngest son and daughter-in-law to his coronation, he will reportedly follow in the footsteps of his late mom, Queen Elizabeth II, and will choose to forgive.

Even during the start of the so-called royal feud, Her Majesty followed the “guise of forgiveness” and the royal family’s motto of “keep calm and carry on.” She always chose to invite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, so King Charles is expected to do the same.

A royal insider told Daily Mail that Prince Harry would always be King Charles’ son and would always love him. Though the situation is hard for them now, the door will always be open for them.

However, rumors have it that King Charles’ decision to invite them may change when Prince Harry’s upcoming memoir, “Spare,” comes out on Jan. 10, 2023. The book is expected to reveal another set of explosive revelations about the royal family, but for today, the family’s patriarch chose to extend an olive branch.
