Our paramedic pandemic heroes have received a special thank you from the Duke of Cornwall.

Prince Charles has recorded a message for the ambulance service and its army of volunteers.

The Royal has paid tribute to what he calls their “tireless and selfless” work, after meeting South Western Ambulance staff last summer.

He said: “You exemplify everything that is best about this country, so please remember that we owe you an immeasurable debt of gratitude for all you mean to us in these hardest of times”.
