One person has been affirmed dead the transport, train impact that happened on Monday morning in Oshodi, Lagos State.
The Director-General, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu affirmed one traveler lost his life while others were getting treatment at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).
“The organization got trouble calls at 8.12 am on the abovementioned. Upon landing in the scene, it was found that a traveler engine GGE 972 GE with six travelers had veered onto the train tracks while crossing the rail at PWD internal Oshodi and consequently crashed into a booked passenger train” Oke-Osanyintolu said.
The Volkswagen transport ran into the moving train while attempting to cross the rail track at PWD internal Oshodi and slammed into a booked passenger train.
Oke-Osanyintolu said the “transport was hauled along for a stretch of the excursion before the train figured out how to go to a total end.”
He said the Agency effectively removed the travelers transport has been taken out to permit the free progression of worker traffic.
He spoke to the open particularly drivers of passenger transports to obey traffic guidelines to forestall wounds and transport delays.
