NPRA processes 54 applications for replacing, delivering passports for Bahrainis abroad

Manama, Sept. 4 (BNA): Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA), Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, said  that 54 applications for replacing and delivering passports to Bahrainis living abroad had been processed since the launch of the service in June. The service receives high demand and is being carried out in cooperation with DHL Express.

He said that the service is part of the 24 initiatives as part of the recovery plan and the directives of  Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. The service is part of the development plan, including issuing a first-time passport for Bahraini newborns living abroad.

He highlighted that the NPRA applies the highest quality standards in providing fast and efficient services to meet the requirements of citizens and residents.
