NAVY DECORATES NEWLY-PROMOTED OFFICERS IN YENAGOA
The Flag Officer Commanding Central Naval Command, Rear Admiral Saidu Garba, has asked the command’s newly-promoted officers to provide motivational leadership for all to emulate.
Garba said this while decorating the promoted officers with their new ranks in Yenagoa.
The six officers were promoted from Master Warrant Officers to the rank of Navy Warrant Officer, which is the highest rank for ratings.
The Officers promoted are Navy Warrant Officers, Musa Ali, Umoren Isaw, Okon Ewa, Idris Abubakar, Edward Isifanus and Nwodi Ochuko.
Garba reminded them that with their promotion, they had been saddled with more responsibilities, adding that they should carry out their duties diligently.
He urged those who were not promoted to take it in good faith because promotion comes from God.
He consoled them to believe that their own promotion would surely come.
The FOC urged those promoted to deliver on the mandate of defending the territorial integrity of the country by breaking the will of the enemy.
He advised all the officers and men of the command to key into the change agenda of President Muhammadu Buhari by dropping their bad habits.
Garba assured the residents that the Nigerian Navy was doing everything possible to secure critical national assets and its maritime domain.
Congratulations
Wonderful ! More promotions to inspire our brave officers in the line of defending our country.
