• Kenyans from different parts of Nairobi got celebrate the day with family and friends despite the cold gloomy weather.

• Boxing day originated as a holiday to give gifts to the poor and less fortunate. Who get to unbox gifts given to them in Christmas boxes.

On Sunday, Kenyans in Nairobi turned out to mark the Boxing Day after Christmas Day.

This comes even as the iconic place to mark the day Uhuru Park remains closed for renovation.

Nairobians still managed to mark the day by visiting other places within the county.

However, a majority still managed to mark the day outside the park.

Others visited Sunken Park, outside the governor’s office, Kenyatta International convention Center, and outside the Lunar Park.
