MOSIEND Gets New Executive In Bayelsa, Condoles With Governor Douye Diri Over Father’s Death
The Movement for the Survival of the Izon Ethnic Nationality in the Niger Delta (MOSIEND), Central Zone, has inaugurated new executives to pilot the affairs of the group.
Their inauguration follows the dissolution of the previous executives on Thursday after 3 years.

Those inaugurated are Zidougha Tari Patrick as Chairman, Olotu Wanaemi, Vice Chairman, Simeon Agulata, Secretary, Itoru Dandison, Assistant Secretary and Emmanuel Tonye Isaac, Publicity Secretary.
Others are Eda Ebiyerin, Financial Secretary, Okuta Erepate, Treasurer, Olayefa Toru, Mobilization Officer, Herect Kalama, Welfare Officer, Brek Diegiah, Woman Leader and Solomon Tamarapreotu Walter, Organizing Secretary.
The inauguration took place in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital and was superintended by the group’s National Elders Council led by Elder T.K Ogoriba and some national executives.
In his remarks, Ogoriba advised the new executive members to be “highly patriotic and show a high level of moral influence on our people.”
The MOSIEND central zone chairman, Zidougha Tari Patrick, on his part expressed gratitude for the confidence reposed in him, assuring that he will work with courage and the fear of God to benefit all youths in the zone.
Zidougha who admonished Ijaw youths to “shun violence in the forthcoming elections” also condoled Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State over the demise of his father and prayed to God to console the family.
