Minority Leader Fred Agbedi, Governor Diri, Lawmakers Pay Last Respects to Late Madam Patience Igho Egukawhore in Delta.

 

The Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. (Chief) Fred Agbedi, PhD, on Saturday, led a delegation of lawmakers to Enhaw Community in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State to honour the memory of the late Madam Patience Igho Egukawhore during her final burial rites.

Rt. Hon. Agbedi was in attendance to support and commiserate with his friend, High Chief (Dr.) Emonena Victor Wayles Egukawhore, a renowned Nigerian business tycoon and philanthropist, laid his beloved elder sister to rest amidst an outpouring of sympathy from family members, political leaders, business associates, and well-wishers.

The solemn ceremony attracted several eminent personalities, including the Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Duoye Diri, who joined mourners in paying tribute to the deceased and offering condolences to the Egukawhore family.

Also present was High Chief Tunde Smooth, a respected maritime business magnate and philanthropist, who attended to express his heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with High Chief Wayles Egukawhore during the period of bereavement.

Among the federal lawmakers who accompanied the Minority Leader were Hon. Marie Ebikake, representing Nembe/Brass Federal Constituency of Bayelsa State, and Hon. Benedict Etanabene, representing Okpe/Sapele/Uvwie Federal Constituency of Delta State.

The gathering reflected the deep respect and enduring relationships High Chief Wayles Egukawhore has built over the years, as dignitaries from across the country came together to celebrate the life of the late Madam Patience Igho Egukawhore while praying for the peaceful repose of her soul and divine comfort for the bereaved family.
