Meghan Markle and Harry ‘hell-bent on causing Queen embarrassment’, claims Royal author

Royal author Robert Jobson has slammed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after reports of the couple’s upcoming 90-minute interview with Oprah. He said the interview was an “act of disrespect”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been slammed after reports of a tell-all interview with Oprah, with the couple being accused of embarrassing the Queen, claims a royal author.

The comments come amid Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby announcement where the couple revealed they are expected a second child.

However, despite the good news they have been on the receiving end of backlash since a source disclosed a 90-minute interview with Oprah is due to air next month.

Royal author Robert Jobson said: “Just after smoothing over the cracks caused by ‘Megxit’ – just over a year ago – the Sussexes seem hell-bent on causing the Queen more discomfort and possible embarrassment.

“Given the way the media focus on such royal interviews, one word out of place will be jumped on to confirm on-going feuds in the Royal Family,” reports Mail Online

Speaking about Prince Harry, he added: “His decision to join his wife’s tell-all on US television interview after they exited the royal family so noisily and dramatically, is another act of disrespect.”

The Duchess of Sussex finalised a deal on an “Oprah Winfrey Special”, ITV News originally reported.

The bombshell announcement has been met with criticism.

TV presenter Piers Morgan also hit out at the couple on Twitter following the news.

He said: “People who really want to be private don’t release intimate baby bump snaps to the same papers they profess to despise, then announce they’re doing a 90-minute special with Oprah..”

It comes as the Duchess won a High Court privacy battle against the Mail On Sunday publisher, Associated Newspapers, after they published a letter she sent to her dad Thomas Markle.

Her lawyers had claimed publishing the letter was a breach of Meghan’s privacy, and a top judge granted the 39-year-old a summary judgement.
