This followed the intervention of the APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

Kano State APC Chairman, Abdullahi Abbas, in a statement, said Ganduje has ordered that the crisis be resolved.

According to him, a meeting of all the aspirants form Kiru/Bebeji federal constituency has been called, and Jibrin has signified his intention to attend.

“Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State has directed the state secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to immediately take measures for the amicable resolution of the internal differences arising from interested parties seeking nomination to contest election into the Kiru/Bebeji federal constituency.

“To this end, the party secretariat has complied and summoned a stakeholders meeting to discuss the situation in the constituency.

“A statement signed by the chairman of the state chapter of the party, Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas revealed that an invitation has been sent to all the aspiring candidates for the position.

“I have done my best for APC. It’s time to move on. I will announce my new political party within the next 24 hours insha Allah. I will make a formal statement in due course”, he tweeted.

The tweet came hours after he held a well attended rally to promote the political aspirations of Governor Ganduje and Ahmed Tinubu.
