Agge, Ekeremor LGA, Bayelsa State. – Rt. Hon. (Chief) Fred Agbedi, Ph.D., Member representing Sagbama/Ekeremor Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has completed the clearing and backfilling of a 6-kilometre earth road as part of his 2025 constituency projects.
The project marks the fourth and final phase of a 31-kilometre road designed to connect all communities in the Agge Sea area, also known as the Dodo-Ramos Island, in Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

According to project details, the road network is aimed at enhancing accessibility and improving socio-economic activities across the island communities. However, the final stretch of the project, about 3 kilometres, requires the construction of a bridge across a major creek at Nembe Camp to fully integrate the network.
The initiative reflects Agbedi’s commitment to addressing infrastructural challenges in the riverine constituency and fostering development through improved connectivity.
