FEDERATION CUP : NFF FIXES MARCH 1st FOR STATE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION COMPETITION

The Nigeria Football Federation have fixed March 1st, this year for the commencement of State Football Association cup in the country.
The Federation notice was contained in a memo formally signed and released at the weekend by Acting Director Competitions Departments, Ruth David directed all Football Associations to conclude the competition finals matches between Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st of March, 2024.
Ruth David notice further directed all states football leadership to comply with the new date released adding that a fine of one million naira will be imposed on any state FA that fail to organized the competition as scheduled.
Bendel Insurance of Benin is the current defending champions of Nigeria’s male Federation Cup while Bayelsa Queens is the current holder of the women’s Federation Cup title.
