End SARS: Lagos Gov, Sanwo-Olu exhorts Buhari on the most proficient method to change police

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has said the Nigeria Police Force, NPF, needs a solid change.

Sanwo-Olu said the police can be sufficiently transformed through legitimate financing.

The lead representative expressed this while complimenting President Muhammadu Buhari for guaranteeing that the requests of Nigerians are met, in the wake of fights against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS.

President Buhari had requested the Inspector General of Police to disintegrate the SARS unit of the Force.

In his reaction, Sanwo-Olu, in a tweet stated: “seven days back, I addressed the IGP and there has been a ton of work going on in the background.

“We thank the FG for tuning in to the voice of the individuals through serene yet amazing fights demonstrating the individuals’ duty to securing each other independent of sex or clan.

“The Police Force needs solid and suffering changes. A genuine case of a changed unit is the Lagos RRS.

“With consistent subsidizing from the Lagos State Security Trust Fund and the LASG, the RRS is the meaning of benevolent police.
