The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, said on Thursday all the governorship candidates for the September 19 political election in Edo State would sign a peace agreement.
Yakubu, who revealed this during the every day media preparation of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 in Abuja, said the activity would take next Tuesday.
He likewise unveiled that around 17,000 specially appointed staff would be enlisted for the political race
Governorship Candidates Godwin Obaseki of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and his counterpart of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, are among the competitors partaking in the political decision.
