EDO 2020: Games continue As Both State And Federal Government Set Aside differences.

The issues surrounding moves by the Local Organising Committee of the Edo 2020 sports festival to end the games inconclusively have been resolved.

This followed the intervention by the Federal government.

In a just concluded meeting between the LOC and the Presidential committee presided over by the LOC Chairman and Deputy Governor, Comrade Philip Shaibu, they agreed to Continue the games.

In a statement released by the project Manager, Media and Communications, EDO 2020 sports festival, Ebomhiana Musa noted that the Presidential intervention is an indication of commitment by the Federal government to ensuring that the event runs its full course without hitches

The LOC had on Wednesday night announced its decision to pull out of the event citing failure of the federal government to release funds for the event
