Diezani’s bra costs $12.5m (N6.8bn) – Nigerian man laments hard on ex-Ministers “invisible” braziers
Following the listing of the properties belonging to the Nigeria’s former Minister of Petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke, by the Federal Government of Nigeria, Nigerians have taken to their social media handles to lament the huge sum of money she illegally acquired.
A Nigerian man particularly got attracted to the costs of jewelries including some invisible braziers in the tune of $12.5 million (about N6.9 billion in today’s conversion).
According to the long list of items announced for sale by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Wednesday, the Ex-Minister has items including 125 pieces of wedding gowns, 13 small gowns, 41 waist trainers, 73 hard flowers, 11 suits, 11 invisible bras, 73 veils, 30 braziers, two standing fans, 17 magic skirts, six blankets, one table blanket and 64 pairs of shoes.
According to the the Government, she is alleged to have stolen $2.5 billion from the Nigerian government while she was minister.
Alabi Opeyemi, a Nigerian who was shocked by the revelation posted on his facebook profile, he said: “Diezani bra is one of the world’s most expensive bra at the rate of $12.5million The Name Is “Heavenly Star Bra”.
