Cote d’Ivoire Prime Minister thanks CAF President Dr Motsepe for ‘selfless servanthood to Africa’
Cote d’Ivoire Prime Minister, Mr Patrick Achi has praised CAF President, Dr Patrice Motsepe for his “selfless servanthood Africa” during his address at the 45th CAF Ordinary General Assembly in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.
At the 45th CAF Ordinary General Assembly, CAF posted commercial revenues of USD $125.2 million – a 17% year on year increase.
Prime Minister Achi thanked the CAF President for the role he is playing in shaping the future of African football.
Speaking at the Congress, he said (to Dr Motsepe): “Thank you for the effort you are making on a daily basis in serving Africa. Your leadership has contributed immensely to modernizing and strengthening governance – as well as stabilizing and making CAF a powerful and efficient instrument of serving football and African youth.
“But then again, it doesn’t surprise us because you are known to deliver on the continent. Thank you for your service to football and thank you for being at home,” he said.
“I would also like to express my deepest gratitude to you Mr. President and the Secretary General for choosing Abidjan as the host city, stating your confidence in our city on the eve of our hosting of the Africa Cup of Nations. The hosting of such an event speaks volumes to the trust CAF has in our nation and we are truly grateful”, concluded the Prime Minister.
The Ivorian Prime Minister once again reaffirmed the commitment of Cote d’Ivoire to deliver a success TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Cote d’Ivoire 2023 in January 2024.
