As the Special Investigator appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu continues to unearth the massive looting and malfeasance that took place under the immediate past Governor of the Central Bank Mr Godwin Emefiele, Nigerians have called for the arrest and interrogation of all those who worked with Mr Emefiele including the organizations directly supervised by the Apex bank including and most importantly NIRSAL which was entrusted with a lot of resources to superintend over the nations’s Agriculture rebirth as envisaged by the former president but which ended up being a conduit for Mr Emefiele and his cohorts in the CBN and the past managing Director Alhaji Aliyu Abdulhameed and his family and friends.

Our sources reveal that many staffs of the Apex bank and NIRSAL have been brought in for questioning and monies running into billions of Naira have been traced to their various bank accounts which are currently being monitored.
The fallouts of the investigation thus far have been mind blowing as the panel is gradually identifying all the manipulations done in the system and the trail of the proceeds from their illicit dealings.
The case of the former Managing Director of NIRSAL, Aliyu Abdulhameed Abbati is still ongoing with new discoveries coming up. The media had not too long ago featured the looting and corruption that went on during his time causing all the investigating agencies of Government including EFCC, ICPC, DSS and the Police to question him.

Properties and businesses acquired by him had been traced to locations across the world including residential properties in Germany and the USA, Gold store in Dubai named Adon Zenari and hotels in South Africa and only recently discoveries have been made on his ownership of mining companies operating in Plateau, Oyo and Niger states with equipment and machinery worth billions of Naira.
The special investigator under the presidency have also arrested the front managing these assets for Aliyu Abdulhameed and most of the equipment have been recovered.
It is pertinent to state that the Government must go all out and arrest all those who have been found wanting in the discharge of their duties as well as their accomplices who they used as fronts to hide the loot and all efforts made to recover all they have stolen whether in cash or in assets.
Nigerians commend our dear President for his courage in confronting this deadly scourge of corruption starting from the CBN and urge him to extend the dragnet to other sectors as the Nation needs all the money that has been stolen from it to assure a better life for its citizens.
