The act is highly inhumane and condemnable, and it is such a shame we are still submerged in a quagmire of incivility, even in this 21st century of advanced technological breakthroughs and socioeconomic development. To think those innocent people who left their homes in search of daily bread turned out murdered in the most cold-blooded manner for no just cause! I still do not wish to believe our own people are responsible for this carnage.

Therefore, I want to call on the state Governor His Excellency Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, the two LGA chairmen, the IDU president and the Security outfits in Isoko to ensure that the perpetrators of this act are found and brought to book. And while we await the investigations, I also call on all Oleh sons and daughters to be peaceful and sheath their swords, this is no time for war.

I pray the good God grant the families of the deceased the fortitude to bear their loss, and may the souls of the departed Rest In Peace.
