A Nigerian fashion designer named Ebele Ojechi has been trending within the fashion and sports space after the English football club, Chelsea FC, celebrated some of his works on their platforms.

The EPL powerhouse shared a post on their social media handle, where they introduced some of Ebele Ojechi’s works to their fans across the world.

They shared that Ebele Ojechi’s work was a blend of Igbo Cultural attires infused with some classic Chelsea FC kits from the 90s and early 2000s.

Why Ebele Ojechi’s works was tagged, “For the Glory”

The young Nigerian emerged as the winner of the Blue Creator Fund after beating several other talented designers and stylists.

Ebele is a fashion enthusiast whose works draw huge influences from her Igbo background with a mix of the diasporan culture.

“Introducing ‘For the Glory’ by Blue Creator Fund winner, Ebele Ojechi.

Chelsea Football Club is one of the most followed European and English Premier League sides in Nigeria, with strong followership from the southeastern part of the country.

Over the last two decades, quite several Nigerian footballers have represented the West London side, with one of the most famous being, John Mikel Obi.

John Mikel Obi was part of the UCL-winning side that defeated Bayern Munich in 2013 and was named the Man of the Match. In the current squad, young UK-born Nigerians like Noni Madueke, Carney Chukwuemeka and Ugochukwu are all members of the Chelsea team.
