Beniangba One-Day All-Stars Football Tournament Get Underway in Yenagoa.
All is now set for the one-day Beniangba All-Stars Football Tournament in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.
The one-day Beniangba All-Stars Football Tournament is sponsored by Jong Genk of Belgium and former Bayelsa United forward, Victory Beniangba as part of the activities to celebrate Christmas.
According to the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Comr. Charles Peletiri, eight teams will jostle for the prize money of Two Hundred Thousand Naira (₦200,000) star prize, runner up will go home with a sum of One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (₦150,000) while third place will receive One Hundred Thousand (₦100,000), highest goal scorer and tournament Most Valuable Player MVP are to smile to the bank with Fifty Thousand Naira (₦50,000) each.
The participating teams are, Kpansia All Stars with star player Ebiki Timitimi, Gbarain All-Stars, Kolga All-Stars, Edepie All-Stars, Royal All-Stars, Great Assembly All-Stars, All Stars International who possessed all the stars and Victory All-Stars of Okutukutu.
It notes that the one-day Beniangba All-Stars Football Tournament will take place on the 23rd of December, 2025 at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa.
According to the statement, the essence of the programme is to bring frenzy and togetherness among the various All-Stars teams in the State, pointing out that the idea of the competition is beyond winning the trophy and prize money.
