Bayelsa United Football Club have confirmed the departure of talisman Robert Mizo to Libyan side Al Hilal Benghazi.
The deal is expected to keep Mizo with the Libyan side until 2027 having scored ten goals this season for the prosperity Boys and 19 goals in 2023.
Mizo bid farewell to the NPFL after Bayelsa United’s matchday 17 clash with Shooting Stars of Ibadan.
Mizo 23 joined Bayelsa United in 2017/2018 season in the Nigeria National League NNL, helped the club to lift the Aiteo Cup in 2021 and as well as the Yenagoa based side to return to the elite division with crucial goals.
