Bayelsa State Football Association Eulogies Gov Diri on Second Term Inauguration
Bayelsa States Football Association BSFA has congratulated governor Douye Diri and his Deputy Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo on the occasion of their second term Inauguration.
The state football regulatory body in a congratulatory message by the chairman Bar. Porbeni Ogoun expressed confidence in the governor’s prosperity agenda, stating that his second term in office will herald even greater progress and development for the State.
According to him that the governor’s victory at the polls signposted the reality and acceptance of the governor by the people of Bayelsa, expressing hope in the Prosperity Administration’s commitment towards the development of the state.
The Bayelsa FA hails the governor’s unprecedented passion for the development of sports in his first tenure, which, according to him, has engaged many youths, meaningfully with Bayelsa United and Bayelsa Queens Aiteo Cup triumph in Benin City Edo State and the Prosperity girls brilliant outing in the CAF women’s champions league in Morocco.
Bar. Porbeni appreciated Governor Diri for sponsoring the first South South U 18 championship in Bayelsa State, stating that governor’s unparalleled desire for the development of sports has changed the fortunes of the State.
He commended the governor for giving sports utmost attention in his first term, urging the governor to focus more on sports infrastructure as well as maintaining the existing sports facilities in the State.
