The Bayelsa Media Awards is an annual event that recognize and rewards journalists in the state.
The 2022 Bayelsa Media Awards took place at the Trendy Event Centre in Yenagoa the Bayelsa State capital on the 28th of April.
The high point of the occasion is where journalists and media organizations, social media platforms, blogs who where nominated in different categories were honoured for their work.
OSPrimeTv was awarded as the Best News Blog in the state, this recognition came as a surprise to participants.
It is a move to encourage media practitioners to continue to bring innovation into the profession.
