BAYELSA ELECTION: ENGEMA JUMBO ASSURES GOVERNOR DIRI OF BLOC VOTE IN EKEREMOR

 

The Director of Centre for Youth Development in Ekeremor Local Government Area, Engema Jumbo says, Governor Douye Diri will record an overwhelming victory in this year’s governorship election in Bayelsa State going by his infrastructural revolution across the homogenous Ijaw State.

The former House of Assembly aspirant made this statement at Ekeremor Town when Governor Douye Diri takes his campaigns to Ekeremor Constituency two.

According to Engema, the completion of the Sagbama/Ekeremor phase one road project in Bayelsa West Senatorial District (BWSD), the Yenagoa/Oporoma road that has hit Angiama Community, execution of shoreline protection project at Ekeremor water front and the ten kilometres Glory Land Drive road and others are capital intensive infrastructural projects that defines the governor’s commitment to put Bayelsa on the path of rapid development.

 

Commenting on the chances of the Peoples Democratic Party to secure victory on the November 11th Governorship election, Engineer Jumbo says, Governor Diri will garner over ninety percent votes of the Bayelsa electorate across the eight local government areas of the State.

Engema who is a seasoned politician with over twenty years experience is confident that he will lead other party faithful to deliver a bloc vote for Governor Douye Diri in ward eight in Ekeremor constituency two and other communities in the council area.

The Director of Youth Centre for Development also appreciated Governor Douye Diri for the approval and execution of link roads including the newly inaugurated pavilion in the heart of Ekeremor town to boost social economic activities.

Governor Douye Diri in his remark at the campaign venue thanked the Ekeremor people for their unflinching support and promised to bring more dividends of democracy to Ekeremor communities when re-elected.
