Manama, Aug. 20 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a hotel in Mogadishu in the Federal Republic of Somalia, resulting in the death and injury of dozens of people, including a local official.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its deepest condolences to the families of the victims and to the Somali people and government, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery..

The Ministry underlined Bahrain’s solidarity with Somalia in all the measures undertaken against violence and terrorism. It also stressed the importance of concerted international effort against all forms of terrorism and drying up its financial and ideological sources.
