Aniocha South Equity team welcomes decampees back to PDP

A reception ceremony was held at Ward 9, Isheagu, by PDP stakeholders to welcome more than 100 previously decamped party members. The reception was organised by stakeholders, which included Aniocha South political dignitaries like Hon. Austin Chikezie, Former House of Assembly member, Former commissioner and present board chairman of Delta Broadcasting Service, Hon Chief Isaac Anwuzia, the present member of the House of Assembly representing Aniocha South, Hon. Rita Daniels, SSA to the Governor on Women mobilization, of course The PDP Senatorial chairman, Moses Iduh, and many other dignitaries.
The Equity Team, which is said to be a movement in Aniocha South negotiating for equity in the three clans in the local government. The three clans include Ogwashi clan, Ubulu clan , and Nsukwa clan. Ogwashi clan produced the the House of Assembly member, Hon. Isaac Anwuzia, while Ubulu produced the Commissioner for Technical Education, Hon. Joan Onyemaechi also known as Ada Anioma. There is a struggle between the Ubulu clan, which also wants to have the local government chairmanship position while Nsukwa clan has nothing.
The Equity team was present in this gathering to welcome the former decampees with smiling faces. The leader of Isheagu, Chief Joe Adigwe, said PDP is the best party to belong. Hon Isaac Anwuzia, commended Ward 9, which happens to be in Nsukwa clan and said “Nsukwa clan did well in the last election and deserves a good position”
