Alleged security concern: Group demand sack of CGI Kemi Nandap over alleged inconsistency, Maladministration

 

A group, the Coalition for Ethical Standard Accountability and Good Governance (ESAGG) has called on President Bola Tinubu to complete the process of rejigging the country’s security architecture with the sack of the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Kemi Nandap over alleged inconsistency and failed administrative functions.

The ESAGG, through the President, Comrade Ebuka Nwachukwu, in a statement issued on Friday following the sack of some Service Chiefs,accused CGI Kemi Nandap of being an sloppy in the administration of the Mid with an alleged cases of misplaced biometric capture of Passport applicants with messed up names giving to a wrong person, date of birth wrongly enrolled,and the service told applicants it was a machine error.

Nwachukwu, said though the complaints and cases filed are reportedly across NIS passport offices without checks, the CGI Kemi Nandap is allegedly busy junketing across countries of the world without reviewing complaints and puting machinery to nip complaints in the bud.

According to the group, ” As a coalition,we assure you to expose every ills in the NIS despite her alleged boast that nobody can remove her. We are not after her but the fact is that she and the Minister of Interior Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, have messed up the Renewed Hope Agenda and the companies operating in NIS allegedly belong to the Minister and his cronnies, yet they are not delivering from E- visa, CERPAC, Expatriate quota, Citizenship,E- gates at Airport they are not working Mr President,it is just media theatrics.”

” Mr. President, even if the NYSC saga and Betta Edu is enough to remove Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Nigerians are watching 2027.”
