DELTA STATE WILL DELIVER MORE THAN 3 MILLION VOTES FOR OMOYELE SOWORE & ISSAC ESHOR.
The Delta State Chairman of the African Action Congress (AAC), Comr. Prince Maxwell Ogor, has declared that the party is working towards mobilising to deliver more than three million votes across Delta State for the 2027 general elections.
Comr. Maxwell Ogor made the declaration during an AAC strategy meeting held in Emede, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, where party leaders, candidates and members discussed grassroots mobilisation, organisational development and preparations for the 2027 elections.
He expressed confidence in the growing structure of the AAC across the state, stressing that the party would continue to strengthen its presence across the 25 Local Government Areas, wards and polling units of Delta State.
According to him, the AAC is determined to secure a landslide victory across the Presidential, Governorship, National Assembly and State House of Assembly elections in 2027.
The African Action Congress has presented a political programme focused on social justice, economic development, workers’ welfare, environmental protection, public accountability and improved public services.
Its broad policy pillars include:
* Security, Peace and Justice for All
* A Green Economy That Works for the People
* Social Policies for a Just Society
* Building a Better Nigeria and a New Political Order
The party also advocates stronger public services, decent employment, accessible healthcare and education, housing, economic justice and greater public benefit from Nigeria’s natural resources.
Omoyele Sowore’s 2027 presidential programme include:
* A proposed ₦500,000 monthly living minimum wage
* A target of 24-hour electricity
* Expanded access to quality education
* A proposed programme for one million public mixed-income homes
* Stronger social protection and workers’ rights
* Greater use of technology, including AI and blockchain, to improve transparency and public financial management
* Economic policies aimed at reducing inequality and improving the welfare of working people.
ISAAC ESHOR 2027 DELTA DEVELOPMENT AGENDA
The economic-development agenda of Engr. Isaac Eshor, AAC’s governorship candidate in Delta State, places strong emphasis on industrialisation, job creation and the strategic utilisation of Delta’s natural and human resources.
Key areas include:
* 24-hour electricity, including gas-to-power projects
* Industrialisation and local manufacturing
* A proposed $1 billion agricultural development plan
* Maritime development and expansion of Delta’s blue economy
* A proposed modern dockyard for shipbuilding, repairs, marine engineering and logistics
* Job creation and youth empowerment
* Roads and other critical infrastructure
* Improved healthcare and education
* Technology and skills development
* Greater utilisation of Delta’s oil, gas, agricultural and maritime resources
* Transparency, accountability and inclusive governance.
The policy direction places particular emphasis on using Delta State’s natural gas, waterways, coastline, agricultural potential and human resources to drive industrialisation, create jobs and improve living standards.
The Emede strategy meeting forms part of the AAC’s continuing grassroots organisational activities across Delta State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Comr. Prince Maxwell Ogor reaffirmed that the party would continue to expand its structures, strengthen coordination at the LGA and ward levels, mobilise voters and communicate the AAC’s policy programmes directly to communities across Delta State.
